Fibromyalgia
When I think of all the things that could possibly happen to me and my loved ones, death by flaming car over epic cliff, death by heroisim in robbery/save old lady situation, death by sharks dinner; fibromyalgia is very low on the list of things that I think would end or cripple anyone I know. But if I were a Las Vegas guy, I’d surely bet on something like fibromyalgia before I’d bet on any of those other scenarios. Yet there are things you can do as a conscious consumer of foods in your limber age to avoid a fate like fibromyalgia; especially if the genetic predisposition is present. To start off, it should be made clear that while not life threatening or progressive the degree and intensity of symptoms may vary from day to day. And living with the disease can be a fate worse than death as the once virile and athletic are reduced to a heaping mess. Fibromyalgia benefits first and foremost from a conservative and healthy diet. The best diet for fibromyalgia would be a diet that’s low in calories and includes a generous dose of the good stuff, fruits, vegetables, and fiber. This is typically the best diet to begin with unless there is some underlying health aversion towards any one of those foods. A high protein diet may be good for some with fibromyalgia. Protein can be found in many foods; you may wish to speak with a dietician in consultation with your doctor if you’ve got problems processing food types in order to deduce the best ways to take your protein.
There is no proof that diet holds any benefit for those with fibromyalgia. And if you have a genetic predisposition for the disease, there’s no guarantee that changing your diet will help at all. But for fibromyalgia, it’s a good idea that you should enter into the discussion equipped with a diet plan. A raw foods diet has been responsible for a number of advances and even though it may appear to be something less than couth, it has been known for 200 years that there are benefits to eating food in the raw.
Immunity from fibromyalgia can be bolstered by a good diet; another move would be for an exercise regime. This is only if you’re not too weak to make something else work. The best diet for fibromyalgia again relies on many things including a healthy balance, individual need, and patience. Things like this don’t resolve themselves overnight. With a steady hand and a cool head, you can make the best of your situation with fibromyalgia.
